  • I've been wanting to check Cornish out for a while now and I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere right off the bat-not overly pretentious, good balance of mood & energy in the place. Went in about 9 on a Friday night & sat at the bar. The staff at the bar were all friendly, not just the miss that was serving us. I had the sloe gin cherry fizz, which was very refreshing & perfectly sweet. FiancĂ© & I shared the cottage pie & Cajun chicken pasties. Both were delicious! The gravy was intense, a little goes a long way. Can't wait to come back here & make it more of a habit.
