  • Terrible in every way possible. 0 stars. HAVEN HOMES = PROGRESS RESIDENTIAL NOW First and foremost, I believe when renting is that you should be able to have a contact number for your property manager so when you have a question or need something fixed, you can get just give them a call and expect whatever it is you need to be answered/fixed in a timely manner. Well not with Haven Homes, which BTW is PROGRESS RESIDENTIAL NOW because this page has terrible reviews and they needed to rebrand in order to get any kind of business. I didn't even know who my property manager was, and every time I called the customer service line they literally knew NOTHING about anything I asked. The answer would be the same thing over and over again: We don't know about that, but we can get that message to your property manager and she will give you a call back. A week would go by, nothing. I would call, same answer. Eventually i got her email because I emailed customer service and they just cc'd her on the email i sent them. Then she STILL DIDN'T REPLY. I had to email her twice to get any kind of response. So that's the worst thing about this company - They hire lazy realtors that just don't give a shit about you. Second thing is that when you move out (which please do not rent from them in the first place) there is no point in even cleaning the place because they will take your deposit from you anyways. We put a pet deposit down (only 1 adult cat that never had any accidents) cleaned, and steamed the carpets ourselves, and because we didn't hire a professional they didn't give us the deposit back because of a slight pet smell - BULLSHIT. It didn't smell, but how are you suppose to fight that? And then we got $400 knocked off our full one month's deposit for "final cleaning fees for windows and appliances" - we cleaned the fuck out of that place. Completely unfair. Anyways, if i can deter anyone from renting from this horendous company then I will feel a little bit better about how things turned out. I want the house that we moved out of to be empty for a long time - so please please please read everyone else's reviews and know that this is a terrible company. and remember it's not haven homes anymore it's PROGRESS RESIDENTIAL. Same company, different name. They just don't have a yelp page because it would be exactly like this one.
