  • I've been going here for over 5 yrs but no longer. Last November I had about $2000 worth of work done, including a tune-up and replacing motor mounts. After a couple of months my car began running very rough, so I had it checked out elsewhere. I found that both of the replaced motor mounts were shot again and that the replaced head gasket seals around the spark plugs were missing, causing oil to leak out around the spark plugs which caused mis-firing. I took it back to Kelly-Clark and asked for these to be fixed under their one year warranty. They agreed to redo the head gaskets, but would only fix one of the two motor mounts, saying that the other, which was severly stretched, was OK. After getting the car back, it was still had severe noises when the car shifted and did not run properly at idle. I gave up on Kelly-Clark and took it elsewhere to be repaired. They found that the supposedly re- placed rear motor mount was the wrong size and had that the mounting holes had been reamed out to about twice their normal size so that it would fit in place (I have the mount and can provide pictures of it). I had to have both the front and read mounts replaced again, as well as the two upper motor mounts, all for about the same cost Kelly-Clark chared to replace one mount. Needless to say, I will never go back to Kelly-Clark.
