  • The McDonald's on Macleod Trail always seems to be under construction! I am not a regular McDonald's patron, but every now and then you get a craving for those super salty fries and give in to temptation. The drive through was closed, forcing us to park and go in (the craving was strong!). They had finished their indoor reno's an it looks exactly like any other updated fast food joint. There was no line and the person helping us at the counter was fast and polite. Our food came up quickly and we filled our own sodas. We took the food home to eat in front of the TV and wallow in shame. It was typical McDonald's fare. Not terrible, but not good either. Everyone should already know what to expect when coming here. Only thing that stood out was that the fries could have used more salt!
