  • I hate my HOA. Hate it. HATE it. HATE IT. If a bird poops onto a tree branch, I'll get a zoomed in picture of the offending tree branch the next day. Creeps. Anyway, I knew the front yard was about ready for some maintenance. Try as I might to do it myself, I always wait too long and - BOOM - another picture from the HOA about how awful the yard looks. In a panic during a week where I had no time to do anything but cry about my life choices, I found Ultimate Lawn Maintenance on Yelp. I hesitantly texted over pictures of the yard, along with my address. I almost instantly received a quote. From there, everything from scheduling to making payment arrangements were discussed and confirmed. I was able to schedule a time just a few days later. I was thrilled that I didn't have to be home for the service and took advantage of the ability to place a credit card on file (because, I mean, I'll take reward points whenever I can). The credit card form was handled over email. When I returned home from work the evening that the service was to take place, I was pleasantly surprised to find an impeccably clean yard. I've since gone ahead and scheduled bi-monthly service, which has not yet begun. However, I already feel such relief at knowing that I may actually keep the HOA at bay from now on.
