| - I yelped this place and decided to make the drive from the sky harbor airport area. The parking lot really is a cluster of chios. And I think because of that it sets ones mood upon entering, in a very negative way.
The main gal that was at the front desk was nice enough and helpful but I did NOT like being told there was no key to the lint traps for the driers on site for her to empty when I requested this to be done. Her fault? I'm not sure, but I know for a fact that it is something that is done in many other places upon requests and it would benefit the business to have it. When I questioned her about cleaning them out she told me that it's done every night. So.... it's only done once a night? That is absolutely nuts and unexceptable.
The "dick move" dude that arrived when I did was a complete ass in every way at this place from informing me that I took his machine, that he had opened the door (this meant it was his) and running out to his car (that he parked at the door) and getting his nasty dog beds and dog blankets. Those items (which are acceptable ) all washed and dried in the same machines I put my stuff in. EVERYONE knows that towels and animal things require that lint traps be clean. IT'S A NO BRAINER! Give the gal the key so it can be done throughout the day. YUK
That same dude also causing grief in the parking lot by getting upset with people trying to back out and leave. (his car blocking their exit bc he was parked behind them) THEN he proceeds to try and take their soon-to-be vacant spot and almost hits the poor girl before she is clear. Finally, he gets the spot only to park so close to the car on marked left that the disabled elderly man had to get into his car from the driver position and climb over his console to get to his seat. (Mr Overly Entitled) unbelievably is standing at the hatch back of his Lexus, oblivious to anything but his own self obsorption. It would make things a lot less confusing if the curbside was clearly marked drop off and loading zone only absolutely no parking allowed. I was dropped off and my husband parked across the intersection and met me at the faciliy. We sat outside while getting things done. You can be part of the problem or part of the solution. When the business doesn't say "move" then instead of one... you end up with 4 cars parked and nobody can leave... then you get mad folks on the way out as well. And bad reveiws.
The facility is very popular and very organized inside. Extremely busy. They will provide you with smaller bills so you can get quarters. They have a detergent dispense machine. Snack and soda machine also.
About 30 minutes to wash 2.50 for dbl load machine (clothes are pretty wet after done) and a quarter gives you 7 minutes (1 pair of heavy jeans, a pair of stretch jeans, 4 tshirts, cotton sweatshirt, 4 pairs of socks, and 4 breifs... cost 1.50 to dry completely. I thought prices were fair and except the lint issue surfaces were clean.
So over all, lost a star for the lack of keeping entry way clear of parked cars and another for the inability to clean the lint trap upon request.
