I rated this high so everyone one see it. If I could give a negative star...I would.
I took my daughter for a pedicure for her and myself. A little more expensive than other places so I planned on having a good pedicure. The one decided to trim skin under my nail. Never had that done before. My toenails have never had any problems and I have never had problems with any other pedicures. The other tech made my daughter nail bleed towards the top in a couple places. Neither of our nails were trimmed straight. Feet were barely scrubbed. The scrubbing and straight toe nails I could have lived with. We left with sore toes and it only got worse! Towards the evening we were both putting lidocaine on our big toes because of the pain. Today I woke up and my toe was painful, swollen and tight. We went over to the nail salon. The tech said we were doing "unnecessary complaining". REALLY!?!?! The guy handed me some antibacterial creme and said sorry. Said he would give me a free service. Uh....NO! We left. As the day went on my toe was so sore I couldn't even put on my slipper. I called him and said I wanted my money back. He asked that I come back after they close. I am guessing because he didn't want to have the conversation in front of customers. He said he checked with the owner and couldn't give me a refund. They used polish. Are you kidding me????? He said I must have cut my nail crooked. Are you serious? I didn't cut my nail. SHE DID. I got the owners number and called him. I was told it was Andy. I called Andy and was told he is not the owner. He sold the shop. SO NOW I WAS LIED TO! At this point I plan on contact the state to have this investigated.
I hope you take my advice on this and don't go here. I hope I can wear my work shoes tomorrow. :(
