  • Due to mechanical problems, US Air caused us to miss our connecting flight last night and a half dozen haggard passengers were shipped over to the Fiesta in the 110 degree heat. What a nice surprise, we really wished we didn't have to leave at o'dark thirty. The rooms were spacious, charming and clean(sure, the a/c was loud but the alternative was a suffocating roast). The bar served creative and healthy dinner options late and we were greatly entertained by the remnants of a drunken business meeting. The pool was refreshing, the lobby cheerful, the grounds were pretty and well tended. It was peaceful and the staff was helpful. The shuttle was efficient and safe. The location was somewhat dull but the distant scenery was gorgeous at 5:45 a.m. Beware of the pulsating shower selection-stupid me wanted invigorating but got stabbing hot needles. Amusing to my neighbors.
