  • Tonight, our team at work had our Christmas party at Yuk Yuks. There was approximately 60 of us for a dinner buffet at 6, plus the show at 8 p.m. I have been to Yuk Yuks a number of times at the Blackfoot, but this was my first time at the Elbow River Casino for the show. I have picked up free tickets for charities at the box office here a number of times - but this is the first time I enjoyed a show at this location. Compared to some of the other local comedy clubs, this one is a cut above the rest. The dinner was amazing. It was a delicious turkey and ham dinner buffet with all fixings, and then the show itself had top notch entertainment. The MC, opening act and headliner were all bust-your-gut funny. It is not unusual for me to enjoy a comedy show, but it is rare that I find all three comedians to be hilarious. Yuk Yuks obviously brings in only top notch talent on a Friday night. The decor was modern and clean and there is an underground parkade that is free, which isa nice touch. I will definately be back here. What a fantastic night! 25/30
