Our server, Allison, was fantastic, however the manager on duty was not. We requested to sit near the window as there was an open table. Our hostess was about to seat us there when the manager quickly arrived to say that it was reserved. He wasn't very polite. Well, that table was not occupied until over an hour later and by then more tables near the windows opened up. The manager catered and swooned over the diners/friends at that "reserved" table, even offering to open the windows that allowed a better lakeside view. He was so attentive to them, but not everyone else- there were other diners sitting alongside the windows and the manager never offered to open it up for them. This normally wouldn't bother me, but his actions were so clear, blatant and disgusting. The omakase was amazing, but the manager's attitude left an ugly taste in my mouth.
