  • This is my second time here and the staff is unprofessional. The first time I was here, I was expecting a procedure to have my nexplanon removed. The office staff on the phone gave me the wrong information and did not inform me that the Doctor required a consultation before having it removed. I paid a copay and sat in the doctors office for over 2 hours for them to tell me, "we aren't removing it." The doctor was behind on appointments, and I was seen two hours after my appointment time, even though I showed up early for my appointment. Also, when making the appointment I informed the office staff of my circumstance of how limited I was on time. They told me that office visits took about 15 minutes, and I could fill out the paperwork before hand to make things quicker. The wait was over 2 hours to spend two minutes with the doctor. The consultation was a joke. I don't think it would be as upsetting if I had gotten the procedure done that I made my appointment for. I understand that Doctor's offices can be very busy, but to wait 2 hours and be turned away for a procedure is a complete lack of communication by the staff and Doctor. Over 3 months later when I was finally able to make another appointment, they are yet again behind on appointments. I asked the front desk staff as soon as I arrived how long the wait was and she said 15 min, "we are only running a little behind." It's been an hour and a half since I got here, and I am still waiting. Worse yet, someone that showed up late for their appointment after I arrived is being seen before me. If you can't show up to your appointment on time, I don't understand why you are being seen before someone who was there promptly for their appointment. I questioned the girl at the front desk and she said it goes by appointments. Doesn't your arrival count for anything? She responds with "I'm sorry we can reschedule." I've been waiting over 3 months, and over an hour and a half today to have this procedure done and for them to ask if I want to reschedule is absurd. They overbook patients here, and that is why they are always so behind. As soon as I have my birth control removed, I am never going to return here again. Go somewhere else that values your time more. It's not worth waiting here. It is clear that the numbers seen are more important than quality patient care.
