  • Highly recommend!! Brought my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner and it was the perfect decision. I booked a month in advance so book your appointment early to ensure seating (sushi bar is the best)! I loved everything, the SUSHI, atmosphere, decor, seating, cleanliness etc. It definitely on par, if not better than what I experienced in Japan (*mainly comparing against Sushi Dai in Tsukiji Market). My boyfriend was skeptical at first but after the first piece of sushi, he was amazed how Yasu can pull this off in Toronto. He agreed 100% that it is on par with Japan sushi, we only wish that this experience can last forever. Freshness and variety of fish, chefs' technique, excellent service, atmosphere and money for value; overall it was perfect, my boyfriend and I walked out all happy and satisfied!!
