The Scarpetta brand is renowned for exceptional food and service. The NYC meatpacking location is one of my faves, so I was VERY excited to try the Vegas one. How silly of me to forget that EVERYTHING IS BETTER IN VEGAS. Here we go...
I had the MOST delicious pasta course I've ever had in my entire life. It was short rib ravioli with a balsamic reduction. I try, TRY! not eat bread except when I'm at a restaurant like Scarpetta. Then I will destroy the bread basket and order a refill. I'm gross but if I finally get carbs, I'm going hog wild. Oink.
Onto the entrees and wine. Pete had the Osso Buco and thought it was good. I had the branzino. I don't remember the sides, not to say they were forgettable, we were just so obsessed with the ravioli appetizer. The wine was great, as was the service. Expensive AF and make sure you make a reservation.
