| - I like this place. It is charming and picturesque. Unfortunately, I find it very expensive and I do not appreciate having to pay an admission fee just to enter the small grounds. For my family, it was $20 just to get in and walk around. And let's face it, there isn't much for adults to do.
Kids, however, will admittedly have fun sitting on the tractors, going down the slide, looking at animals, and pumping water. Definitely bring your own packed lunch to enjoy at the picnic tables.
The second time we came, we did pick fruit with friends and we had a great time. The price for the strawberry baskets was fairly reasonable. Hence, we enjoyed it as a special excursion, but due to the $20 cover charge, it isn't something I would consider often. Note that it does get quite crowded at peak picking periods.
