  • When it was time to have my late Mom's wedding ring reset, I knew where to go : Jeweler's Workshop in Madison. In the early 1990s, they did a gorgeous wedding band for my husband and although there are many fine custom jewelers in Chicago, I happily made the trek. Today I picked up spectacular custom diamond hoop earrings and a lovely custom ammolite ring. From the initial meeting, through the several redesigns, I enjoyed exceptional professional attention from individuals who took pride in their knowledge, their artistry and their attention to customer service. I was listened to and more importantly was educated on the possibilities for a very sentimental piece of jewelry. There was no pressure and no rush. Instead, appropriate time was taken to make sure that I was pleased with the piece and process. I am thrilled with the final results and signed up with Yelp this evening, just so I could convey my thanks to the Jewelers Workshop staff and make my recommendation known to those of you who read this review. If you have an idea for a custom piece of jewelry or want just the right pair of pearls, diamond studs, gemstone pendant or other piece of jewelry that you will treasure for many years to come, Jewelers Workshop should be first on your must-visit list.
