| - This place was alright... The woman who booked my room was amazing and kind, but the sentiment was short lived.
The King bed room was quite spacious with a couch, desk chair, table, refrigerator/freezer, nice TV with a hdmi port great for hooking up a laptop or console, smelled good non smoking, no dust or bugs. Same layout for my friend's double bed room across the hall. The cleaning staff were nice and asked what I wanted if I saw them.
The pool closet to my room seems like it has a key only gate but no one in my building or at the pool had a key. Lobby was beautiful and clean, with staff that always asked to help me and comfortable seating. Up until now it's 4 stars, but it gets worse.
I locked my key in my room and waited 30min for security to get me to take me to my room, they argued over taking me both or splitting between a family also waiting and me. Then they had to be told no 1 guard alone with one person and I'm assuming especially female and I had to be taken first even though I got there first too! Finally, the guards freaked when I walked in the room a few feet to get my id to show I was me, in my room... Like what I'm gonna steal in front of you?
I tried to book another night after my business trip as it ran long, my company books ever yr and they know this but I'm told I can't book at the same rate, the new rate is at least 60 higher, and I ask about the new rate, then again I'm told I can't, I'm told there's nothing available... Why the run around? Later I find out other staff extended and the following 2 nights people are booking and the staff don't know who this woman was that told me this and it's inaccurate. I changed hotels regardless.
