  • Terrible, terrible service. Arrived with my mom at 7am with no one in the waiting room of the emergency with her bleeding non stop. The receptionist moved at sloth like speeds with a lack of urgency that was disturbing. He was so slow in his movements, I honestly thought he was stoned. That lack of urgency is the one thing I'd give banner 5 stars for consistency. Once in the room, the nurse was not only rude, but completely ignored the severity of the situation. We waited over two hours to see the one doctor they had on staff. I will give it to her that she and her assistant were very helpful, but it took 5 hrs with barely anyone in the hospital to finally get my mother transferred to another hospital where she is now waiting to have surgery. Meanwhile, she never stopped bleeding and the original nurse was such a rotten apple that I had to tell her she was a problem and get her out of the room. I have never experienced such a lack of respect or urgency in an emergency room. I would rather drive an extra 15 miles with my arm torn off than attempt this disaster of a hospital again.
