| - I can't say enough about how amazing Dr. Lasee is. From her office decor, to the technology she uses from check in to the eye exams, to her awesome assistant, Jennifer... Dr. Lasee is truly a gift to her patients and her profession.
I came to her almost by accident due to the proximity of her office to my house, but I'll be a patient for life due to her passion for what she does, compassion for her patients, and incredible way of solving problems.
I have a rare eye condition called Adie's Tonic Pupil, which renders one of my pupils in a constant state of dilation and resulting light sensitivity and vision impairment. Many Optometrists don't know a lot about this condition because it is so rare, so I didn't expect to even address it during my appointment other than to let her know about it and move on to addressing my Rx for distance. Within the first 5 minutes in the exam room, she was had me sample a contact that could work to constrain my pupil, thus reducing the light that comes into that eye and improve my overall vision. I saw 3 specialists in CA, including a re-known Neuro-Opthamologist at Stanford, and no one took the time to suggest this solution with me, let alone make it so easy for me to just try it out right then and there! It turned out she knew quite a lot about Adie's and other nerve issues impacting the eye. To say I was surprised and thrilled by this is an understatement.
Go see Dr. Lasee if you need a great eye doctor!
