If I could give zero stars I would. I was told by a family friend that this doctors office was a great, very professional practice. So I decided that I would give them a call, the first time they didn't answer and I left a voicemail. To my surprise absolutely no one called me back. Very unprofessional. So I called three more times the next day, finally on that third call they answered. So I made an appointment and as expected the next available appointment was almost a month out. The girl on the phone asked for all the information for my father, as he was a new patient. They asked what insurance he had and what his ID number was so they can verify coverage before. Well today 08/21/15 is almost a month after I made the appointment my father goes to his appointment only for them to tell him that his plan is NOT contracted with the doctor. How does an office work like this? How do you ask for information prior to the appointment to confirm only to wait until the patient comes in to turn them away? No one ever told me that there were certain plans that weren't covered with the doctor. Wouldn't that be something you would tell someone new? Instead of wasting everyone's time? It's very upsetting when my father waited this long only to be turned down. Very unprofessional.
