  • Clean! Clean! Clean! CLEANLINESS I have always been weary of getting a manicure/pedicure especially the idea of cutting my cuticles with utensils that have been used by the person before me. But as soon as I walked into Nailsense, it was unbelievably clean and spotless. They clean each utensil with this machine called the autoclave and the my manicurist (KIM) opened a newly cleaned pack of utensils right in front of me. Tien the owner taught me about his pedicure spas. He said that each spa has it's own individual pipes in order to ensure zero cross contamination between spas. This is not a requirement in Canada but Tien took the extra step and invested in this additional safety precaution. INGENUITY Tien also told me he designed his own manicure/pedicure fan. He had it custom built to suit the needs of the client and it is facing to the window so you can watch what's happening outside. He also designed the manicure table keeping in mind the most efficient way to clean it. MANICURE my manicurist (KIM) was super great. She asked me whether I wanted my cuticles cut, creamed up my hands/ arms, gave me a nice firm hand/arm massage, put on my selected OPI nailpolish and ta da, done! My hand and nails were beautiful once it was all done. ATTENTIVE/THOUGHTFUL My sister had a pedicure and she wore these shoes that would have likely damaged her polish. Her pedicurist brought her shoes to her, wrapped her feet in saran wrap and we were just on our way to go. But Tien stopped us and said, I think wearing this would be better and gave us some flip flops. If you are a person who likes clean facilities, attentive staff, professional work, Nailsense is right for you. Next time I have to try the mani+pedi+wax!
