  • I've been to hundreds of concerts across the country and I'm attempting to write a review of every venue to assist my concert going troubadours. The Cactus Blossom Brothers - July 29, 2016 If you are going to the South Park Amphitheater for the music, be warned. The residents of South Park treat this free summer concert series as their own private block party. They bring their strollers, dogs, and coolers and share craft beers, play frisbee, and swap guacamole recipes with little regard to the music being played on the stage. The music is simply background music to their end of the week social gathering. I suggest the county charge a minimal fee ($5-$10) to weed out the residential loiters.
