Some time ago, I visited this bar and encountered a really hostile and xenophobic attitude from the elderly female bartender. After presenting my driving license from Puerto Rico the bartender told me that she could not accept my id because Puerto Rico was not part of the U.S. and asked for my passport. Although annoyed at her ignorance of US history, I showed her my US passport. However, this was obviously not enough for her who continued insisting that Puerto Rico was not part of the U.S. and that for security reasons she needed to PHOTOCOPY my passport, which is not only illegal, but was an obvious xenophobic and racist move to exclude me from the bar. I have not since returned to this place and I will continue dissuading anyone I know from ever stepping into this bar.
