| - I loved Ann, but the office itself is a nightmare! I quit and took my family to another doctor.
1) The office procedures treat people like cattle. I absolutely HATED going there.
2) The phone hold times were generally over 30 minutes to talk to a person. When you finally got a person, they were not helpful.
3) I took my daughter in for an appointment that was ONLY to get referrals to the specialist care she needed. Ann told me they would be issued within days. The office staff never processed them though. I made REPEATED phone calls, holding on the phone for long stretches, but no one would help. They also refused to let me talk to the person who processes the referrals. The said she would call me back--but she never did despite my repeated requests.
After waiting almost 3 months, they finally sent me "fake" referrals (when I went to book the specialists, they told me they did not have copies of the referrals; I then called the insurance company who told me the referrals were never issued). Finally I wrote an email to Ann's private account telling her about all of this, and outlining the fake referral issue. She wrote back a very nice email, but we had enough of being treated so badly--we changed doctors.
Btw....when I explained how I had a legal basis for a law suit, and that collecting insurance money for services that were not rendered might be considered insurance fraud, the referrals that were several months overdue suddenly appeared in my mailbox.
It's a shame. I LOVED Ann. But, there was no way I was going to continue to pay to go to an office like this. I agree with all of the other reviewers!
