First time at Ike's. It's in downtown Tempe, near the movie theater. Walked in 'solo' after Star Wars and we were the only party.
There are dozens of sandwiches and combos. I ordered the MILF, adding fried chicken instead of halal chicken, on a Dutch crunch roll. Got a Thanksgiving on gluten free bread. for my beloved wife.
Our dinner arrived in about six mins, hot and fresh. We didn't eat until we got home but it was still plenty warm. The bread was soft yet crusty on the outside and the fillings were plentiful. The poppers were a nice addition to the fried chicken. Loved my choice. My wife said she thought I had gotten her regular bread instead of GF cuz it was so yummy.
I will be returning to Ike's, especially since learning about several locations throughout the valley.
