  • Let me start by saying it was simply outstanding. The ambiance was first rate, as was the food and service. I frequent a lot of steak restaurants, up this is now on my short list of favorites. Our steaks were perfect and most delicious, the side dishes were large and delicious and desert was delicious. Prices were perfectly typical for a fine quality steak restaurant, so no complaints there...I felt it was a good value. The real standout, as funny as this may sound, was the creamed spinach...wow...really. There are a few other very good steak restaurants downtown, but I might say the Golden Nugget may have an edge because IMHO it is the nicest downtown property.
