| - This company is unethical! I am taking the time to write this review in hopes that I can save you from the nightmare I endured. Your wedding, or party should be a delight to plan for.
Here is my story:
I had spent so long looking for just the right wedding invitations and finally decided to go with Posh Invitations because it was a local company and had a lot of pretty invites.
I was so relieved to finally get that done! But when I was checking out my order online, I received no confirmation stating WHEN my invites would be finished.
Odd.
So I called right away to talk to the owner. Since there was no answer, I left a voicemail and sent an email and then moved on to other things.
I received a reply saying it takes an average of 1-2 days in house and a week for shipping. I am not sure why, but I decided to call the owner and this is what she tells me:
"Oh for THAT particular theme it will take at least 3-5 weeks. That is just procedure for that type."
First, I did not have 3-5 weeks as I had a shorter engagement and wanted my guests to have as much time as possible to save the date and second, there was never any indication on her website with any estimations. If I HAD seen that, I would have never placed the order. So I inform Melissa that I will have to cancel to which she replies I cannot. We go back and forth and I am finally at a point of tears asking her if she wants to force me to stay as a customer when I won't be able to use the invites because of timing concerns and no longer like her company.
The conversation ends with me saying I was very unhappy and would NOT be able to recommend her.
I then receive an email saying she would cancel my order and no charge had been made to my credit card.
I was relieved on the one hand, but concerned on the other, because my card HAD been charged. So I emailed immediately informing Melissa that it had been charged and to please correct it.
I never got a reply and the refund was never added to my bank account. So I had to spend hours on the phone with my bank, print and fax all documentation from our emails, fill out forms, answer questions on the phone again, just to get the money back.
And all while planning my wedding. And to think I was relieved that I "finally got that done!"
