Positives:
- Bagels are good
- You can get reasonably tasty fresh food in here - a plain or sesame seed bagel with smoked salmon and onion is a better choice than a burger somewhere else.
- Has its own little parking lot for customers only. Free parking in this area of town is very hard to come by during business hours, so every little bit helps.
Negatives:
- It's a chain. Would rather have an independent small bagel bakery.
- Prices are HIGH, especially for Lakewood. 11 dollars for a bagel, small soup and a drink? I thought for a minute I was in Europe.
- Stuff other than bagels, such as soup, sometimes doesn't taste so good. (Panera across the street has better soup.)
- They run out of a lot of menu items by mid-afternoon.
- They also close by about 4 pm. I know bagels are thought of as a breakfast item, but in this neighborhood there happens to be a large hospital within a block's walk right around the corner, which means people are coming and going in the evenings as well, and there are few options for quick food in this area from about 4 to 8 pm - the only real option is Panera across the street. The lack of options is a bit of a pain if you have some reason to be at the hospital and don't have time to do a sit-down meal.
