Pretty great stuff. The staff is really nice. Owner is a dad / daughter pair with nice smiles and good service. The atmosphere is comfortable inside. I am writing this review from a big leather couch inside the shop using the free wifi and listening to a good mix of John Mayer and Bob Marley and UB 40 to name a few.
Now for the food. I have only eaten here twice, but both times were noteworthy. I got a rueben on rye last week with a bottle of coke (YES, A GLASS BOTTLE WITH REAL SUGAR). The sandwich was phenomenal. Good meat and nice rye bread. I am not a sauerkraut guy, so i substituted lettuce and tomato- produce was quality.
Upon writing this, I just finished scarfing down a homemade chicken pot pie. Great crust and nice tender chicken, potatoes, veggies, etc. Also it was a good size for a lunch, not too much where I felt like I had to figure out a way to take home chicken pot pie leftovers home, but I am adequately full.
I just started a new job working across the street so I will surely be back and will report the news. As a long time viewer of yelp info, this place made me actually want to write my first Yelp review. They deserve their 5 stars and I am sure more and more reviews will steadily come in.
Its a wholesome place with great food at reasonable prices and nice people. That's really all anyone can ask for from an eatery.
