| - White Lightning has been my go-to beer for a couple years, and I have been wanting to visit the Full Pint brewery for some time. When a friend's wife hosted his surprise birthday party here last Saturday, I was so excited to finally check it out!
The location is right off route 30 in North Versailles. However, you could have driven by a hundred times and never noticed this place. Essentially, the location is in a grimy warehouse with a small and bumpy parking lot. Patrons hang out inside a large space with high ceilings. Thank goodness for the garage door connecting the room to the outside. It was 90 degrees on the day we were there, and by the early evening, it was cooler outside than inside.
Outside of our large group of 30 or so people, the place was pretty quiet on Saturday afternoon/evening. The space is very simple, providing just the basic needs to clientele. Several high top tables and two rows of several picnic tables had plenty of room to spare.
Enough about the space because the beer is why one would come here! The White Lightning tasted perfect on the hot summer day. However, if it had been any other season, I would have gone for the All In Amber. I had never tried it before, and it was positively delicious. Full Pint also provided the party attendees with a cheese appetizer and several Margherita pizzas. I was surprised that the pizzas - a very thin, crispy, flatbread style - were so delicious! I had several of the mini slices.
I had a very fun time celebrating the surprise party and would enjoy returning with a group. I don't think that Full Pint offers enough food options, entertainment, or aestetically pleasing environment that I would enjoy coming here with just my husband or a smaller group, but it's definitely a fun place for a larger group to hang out. Plus, it's relatively kid friendly!
