  • bought a new house at AmericanWest and the plumbing is through raptor. paid $200 pre-installed water softener pipes. the water softener drain pipe in the garage was cut all the way to the wall so there was no way to connect. there was even a hand-written "too short" on the wall. i was surprised that it passed the CQ inspection. had to call warranty company and plumber came saying they didn't do it and questioned me whether or not it was me who cut it. I am very frustrated that some contractors/sub-contractors CANNOT do their job right the first time and find excuses to blame others and try to get away. the wall had to be cut open to extend the pipe. A careless and poor craftsmanship has caused a less than 20 minute job to install a softener more than 2 weeks.
