| - The incompetent new management recently decided that each apartment will receive one covered parking spot (along with 9 apartments who would receive uncovered spots), which will undoubtedly make the already awful parking experience even worse. They emailed the residents letting us know "50+" uncovered spots will be available for extra vehicles and guests. I literally walked the parking lot and only saw 53 uncovered spots, excluding those in front of the office, which are reserved for potential residents, and handicapped spots. I'm no math major, but I believe 53 - 9 which are reserved is 44...so I wonder where they expect to find the remaining "6+" spots they communicated. Further, if the employees downstairs aren't residents, I sincerely hope they won't be taking up spots while they work, let alone claiming a garage or reserved spots for themselves.
They charge residents for the community's electricity bill, which is wasted on TVs that are rarely used but always on, A/C for a massive front office with west-facing windows, and a gym that is kept much colder than necessary.
Oh, the gym...it's disgusting. I regularly find dead insects on the ground and mosquitoes flying around like it's a tropical island. Management does not regularly stock towels, rarely stocks wipes for the machines, and has not stocked the hand sanitizer since they took over (months ago).
I've lived in 8 different complexes around Phoenix over the past 10 years and have never lived anywhere as terrible as this place since Mark Taylor took over.
Finally, to give you an idea of how dumb the management is, they recently changed the complex name to Slate Scottsdale...for an apartment complex with an address in Phoenix. Nice job, Mark Taylor! Keep it up!
