  • I can hardly believe the positive reviews for this place. Either the reviewers have never had a quality acrylic fill in or the slovenly, sloppy, mediocre job, that this place puts out is all they are used to. I have never had a worse fill, than this. I came in and asked for an acrylic fill in. The first thing I noticed was the long counter, much like a bar set up. Great, so you can get in & out just like a herd of cattle. Of course, that is the whole point, get em' in & out FAST. "Ben" the owner, asks do I want gel polish, I said no, regular polish is fine. Again he asks don't I want gel polish? Again I said no..... As for the "wall" of polish the colors available are horrible. Very few really pretty colors in favor of dull beige's, greens, blues and dark colors. I would have done better if I brought my own polish with me. The girl starts working on my nails and I asked her to please, push back the cuticles. She says yah yah she will, She continues to file and then put primer on, so I asked her, WHEN are you going to push back the cuticles? She cops an attitude, goes to another desk and pulls out a sealed package of tools and withdraws a cuticle instrument. Quite possibly the only tools in the place, that were sterilized properly. It also bears mentioning, the unsanitary, filthy conditions. I doubt their files and dremmel bits, used on clients, have even touched disinfectant. She tried to proceed with the fill in and I asked her to clean the files and bits before she continued. And again, we go with the attitude. Really!? Last I looked I was a CUSTOMER and paying for a service. Thereafter she proceeds with the fill, it was rushed, sloppy and the nails were misshapen and uneven. I had to point out sections and ask her to fix them. When she found a loose nail at the tip, her solution, rather then to nip it off and fill, was to squirt super glue underneath. Seriously! So she files, does not bother to buff and says go wash, then puts two thick coats of color, (no base coat?) a top coat and sends me off to the drying station. By this time, I an pretty disgusted in the service, her attitude and the whole experience. After gingerly fishing out my keys and wallet, I paid the fee and after the "looks" from the receptionist, I advised her, "yes no tip, it was that bad. And when she asks, please tell her why." And to add insult to injury, I get home and find sharp edges on all of the tips! I had to file these down on my own! Needless to say I won't be back, ever!
