  • I was one OCD bride - and when I walked into Wedgewood it just felt right. The venue was exactly what I was looking for. These amazing individuals are dedicated to value, service, and convenience. From day 1, Desiree and Megan did an absolutely amazing job of answering all my questions. I am local to Las Vegas, but most of the wedding party wasn't - I must have walked the property 10x before the big day, wasn't ever a problem. The building's interior is gorgeous and matched by the beautiful backdrop of Frenchman's mountain. I had a very specific vision for the day, that changed a few times, but it was never an issue for them. Whatever the bride wants. When I had a problem with one of the vendors (my florist) Desiree fixed it within the day (guiding me to an excellent florist - Exotic Florists). They allowed me be me (including bringing my own 20" x 30" to-scale seating arrangement - which they had no problem setting up). The wedding rehearsal was very easy going and smooth, Jacqueline organized our families that made everyone happy (as we were bringing three families together). The wedding itself did not go off without a hitch, but not because of Wedgewood. The rings almost didn't make it, but the girls accommodated us with a bottle of champagne on ice to calm my nerves. We hung out in the bridal suite upstairs which was big enough to accommodate my bridesmaids and mother, but also had extra space to allow for a few visitors upstairs that wanted to wish me well before the big day. The photographer Wedgewood recommended (Stephen Salazar and his assistant) came at about 3pm to start taking photos. He was very understanding that I did not have my bridal jewelry (for specific shots) and improvised and got some shots of the groomsmen in the meantime. Wedgewood took care of my fiancĂ© at the time (Brock) and our groomsmen too, getting them ice cold beers from the bar while they hung out in the grooms room. The photographer wanted to get some shots of me outside with my girls, and the Wedgewood staff literally forced all the guests that arrived early into the bar and created a human shield to get me in and out of the building. The officiant Wedgewood provided (Rev. Bree Reeves) performed a lovely ceremony. Jacqueline made sure we were on time and organized, got us lined up, and in good pace. She even matched our colors so she blended right into our crowd! Before we knew it, we were husband and wife and taking tons of family photos with that beautiful backdrop. Jacqueline and DJ Murphy brought my husband and I a beer and cocktail to cool off (a late spring wedding in Las Vegas, it was still 100 degrees outside at 7pm). Then Stephen loaded us up into a golf cart and we went to a secret spot he knew of for some great shots at sunset. When we arrived at our seats for dinner, a picture of Brock and I was waiting for us in a silver Mr & Mrs frame of our first kiss as husband and wife and a card thanking us! This tiny detail seems insignificant, but I had the hardest time figuring out a "good theme" for our wedding. I ended up doing "&" as a theme. As in utilizing the "&" in things like "Love&Marriage" "Mr&Mrs" "Forever&Always" "B&C" in decorations around the venue. For them to take that into consideration and add one more, that was touching. DJ Murphy (who ALSO matched our colors!) had taken our picture and Alexis, the banquet captain, and the staff printed the photo and put it in a frame. I was beaming in my seat when I saw it - that was the sweetest gift! It sits on my nightstand at home. The immaculate service continued when Alexis got us through the buffet line first, and even brought our plates back to our seats. She continued to make sure we had whatever we needed during the dinner hour. We did not get to taste the food before the day, but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The catering staff was both well organized and attentive; we always had wine or champagne in our glasses. DJ Murphy acted as both the emcee and DJ, giving us a heads up when we needed to get things moving. He did an exceptional job as emcee and as DJ, we worked together to make a playlist that kept up with a crowd that ranged from 10 to 90. He also helped with planning and engaging a few surprises - some planned, some not (which we ended up loving!) DJ Murphy also did a special salute to veterans (which my father and grandfather are); as well as nurses - which I, my new mother-in-law, and a bunch of my guests were also. After dancing the night away (which went by SO FAST) Alexis made sure to let me know that she would handle everything, pack up all of our stuff for us and told us to not worry about a thing! There is so much more I could say, but I will say this - they went above and beyond to help bring my vision to life. My day was perfect. If you value customer service and attention to detail - Wedgewood is your place!
