I wouldn't stay here again. I felt dirty staying here, like I didn't want to touch things. I was thankful I don't have allergies. There are better options with comparable pricing at this location. Two stars for the Good/Neutral points and the location.
Bad
- Ever seen a house where the owner ran out of money to complete renovations? The bathroom sink had a nice quartz countertop, on a plywood type base. There was a new(er) curved shower rod with a tattered and torn shower curtain.
- Only received one set of towels. Requested a second set but they were out.
- The towels were stained. Smelled clean but if you can't remove the stains on a guest towel, it's time to retire the towel.
- The carpet was filthy, old and stained to the point I was afraid to go barefoot in my room. The room and hallway just had a visible swath of black/grey from were folks tread over the years.
- No fitted sheets & the linen was too short to secure the ends under the mattress so my bedding was everywhere and the mattress exposed. At least I saw no bedbugs. Just dislike that feeling of touching a mattress. It doesn't get laundered and this is a well worn hotel.
- Bits of mold around the shower tile.
Good
- Granted late checkout.
- Great water pressure in shower.
- Functioning appliances (mini fridge, microwave).
- Pets allowed. I didn't bring one but it's a nice perk and they were all well behaved.
- Reliable wi-fi.
Neutral
- Breakfast, eggs/waffles were available but I only had cereal. The milk was never cold.
- Tv, coffee pot in room (never used them).
- Loud but functional air conditioning unit.
