After reading a million articles and blogs with conflicting information about race nutrition and daily fueling for endurance athletes, I decided to seek out a professional sports dietitian. Brooke being an Ironman herself, I knew she had to know what she was talking about and I am so glad I worked with her. She got me to race weight and ensured I was eating enough calories each day to make my training work. She got me a fuel plan that works for on the race course and in daily life. She really looks at what you are putting in your body and how it responds. I now know that on race day, nutrition is going to be the one aspect I am not worried about. I have now successfully trained for and completed 3 full Ironmans and numerous halfs without a single stomach issue and feeling like I have energy. I recommend her to all of my training buddies and even friends looking for some sound nutrition advice. Thanks to Brooke, I am back to eating full-fat foods and not being scared of the calories that go into my body. She's the best!
