While I really hate that you have to pay to get in when you already plan on spending money on the food trucks, at least the cost of one tickets allows you access for all three days. Definitely purchase your tickets in advance online for two reasons. 1. It's $8 instead of $10. 2. You get to stand in a shorter line when you enter. Also, if you're coming with a little one in a stroller (kids under a certain height are free) they might take pity on you and invite you to skip the line all together.
I do feel like they put together an awesome group of food trucks. Not only were there many different kinds of food, but there were trucks from other states like California, Arizona and Utah! So you probably won't find some of these trucks at our regular Vegas food truck events.
I would recommend bringing cash. I think every truck I visited took Cards, but it's nice to avoid the extra fee some of them slap on for using a card.
There were nice huge tents filled with tables and plenty of room to sit. Even at its most crowded, I always found a chair.
There are also carnival rides and games. All of them Cost money.
Also, be prepared to use port-a-potty unless you want to hike all the way over to the casino and then wait in line to get back in.
