Let me say up front that I absolutely loved the Las Vegas Mob Experience that was at the Tropicana hotel and it is hard not to compare the two experiences given that they cover the same subject matter. Unfortunately for The Mob Museum, it gets beaten worse than the guy who repeatedly misses his deadline to pay his loanshark. For the most part, the Mob Museum is 3 floors of narrow, crowded hallways, a bunch of descriptions of various mobsters and moments that you can read about online with much greater detail and interest than looking at it hanging on a wall and has very little in the way of actual items of interest. Unlike the interactive and entertaining nature of the LV Mob Experience, the Mob Museum has virtually no "experience" or fun and is not worth the time or the money. I'd suggest Googling mobsters and mob history while listening to the best of the Rat Pack from the comfort of your home. That's a winning combo that whacks the Mob Museum alternative.
