  • As something of a bargain hunter, you'll catch me from time to time making a stop by one of our local dollar stores. Off the bat, I knew I wasn't going to like this chain as much as I do the 99 Cents Only. As Kristin points out, it's on the side of dirty and the selection is nothing to write home about. Sure, there are redeemers floating around, if you spend the time. I am partial to picking up cleaning supplies in places like this, where you get a gallon and a half of bleach for a buck. Regardless, there are better places that do what this store intends to do in a smoother, more cleanly presented package.
