We had high hopes for our visit with Rodney, he was advertising in a local magazine so we decided to try him and paid a $60 consult. We are new, from out of state and will be living here in Scottsdale for 5 months out of the year, I needed a stylist to work with my stylist in Colorado. He refused to talk with her to learn about my color and style she performs, he said he was too skilled to cut my hair and recommended we cut it short and wear a wig. He also said he can't guarantee I will like anything, hair is a process and he doesn't babysit or want us to call and complain if we don't like it. We honestly didn't know how to react so we paid his fee and left. I shared this information with him directly but felt it important to share with others given that my first experience was so negative. My mother (whom I'm writing this review for) was literally in tears when I picked her up from the consult. Luckily, we were referred to a great stylist from the supply store who my mom loved and made her feel amazing. I hope no one has an experience like this in the salon ( especially for just a consult).
