I called to reschedule my appt. for today. I called yesterday after work as I couldn't call from work because everyone was out of the office so I had to fill in as receptionist. (our law firm provides receptionist service to 5 other companies as well as ours.) When I called to cancel I had to leave a message. Later I got a voicemail saying I would be charged a $25 cancellation fee. I called back and told them that was not fair as I called 20 hours in advance. The next thing you know I get a text alert saying my card was charged $25. My appt. is later today and I think it's poor business practice to charge when someone calls in the day before to reschedule. Things happen. I didn't no show, I left a message saying I wanted to reschedule. My cancellation is due to an ongoing injury on my face that still hasn't healed all the way. I am sure it's no problem to fill my spot since she stated they were booked for today. They just lost a customer and that $25 is disputed. PS I'm a former owner of 2 salons!
