We were looking for a quick place to grab a coffee in the neighbourhood and The Roasterie popped up. Looked like a solid option so we went and checked them out.
The place is tiny inside with tables cramped together but there's a bit more room outside to sit along the sidewalk. There's even a takeout window.
The inside decor is very eclectic and hippie. Old school coffee grinders adorn the walls, there's coffee beans from all over the world for purchase and fresh coffee roasting up front.
- Vietnamese cold coffee ($5.75) - according to B, it was decent. Good portion but didn't taste as strong as the ones you get at Vietnamese restaurants.
Worth a try although I'm sure there are several coffee options in hipster Kensington.
