| - What a lovely little joint! OCL gives an amazing first impression with a huge, well-lighted and tastefully decorated interior. I love the little touches they've added such as comfortable seating, and a refurbished steampunk style table. The "bartenders" were super friendly, and we felt right at home after stopping in on a hot Labor Day weekend. This was the perfect place to refresh and recharge. I love the way the menu is set up, it's organized by basic sodas, and then by spirit, with tabs marking each section, which makes it really easy to find what your looking for. I wasn't sure what flavor of soda to choose since they had so many, but fortunately the staff was willing to let me sample one of the flavors I was considering. I tried the lime and didn't personally care for it, it had a very pure lime flavor, which is great if that's what you're looking for, but for me it was too tart and sour. I ended up getting the cinnamon soda instead and boy was it delicious! It tastes almost like red hots, but obviously a bit sweeter. It's surprisingly refreshing, although a tad spicy. I also tried some of their cocktail offerings, they were good, but nothing grand. I think the price is fair, and comparable to other basic cocktails you might get elsewhere. Truly, I think the star here is the basic sodas themselves. They do have some unique flavors, and I love being able to sit and have a drink that isn't alcoholic when you're not in the mood for that. I didn't get around to trying the pretzels my first time, but I will definitely be trying them next time. I do hope they grow to have more food options since this is a place I could see myself wanting to hang out at if they had more food. Definitely a great addition to this area, and it's perfect for alcohol-drinkers and teetotalers alike!
