I didnt stay here as an overnight guest. I attended a wedding here. It was a nice hotel. Updated decor and clean. The room the ceremony was held was a small ballroom with the DJ in one corner and cake table already set up in another. I figured this room maybe flipped during cocktail hour for the reception.
I was a little distracted by the staff being noisy with equipment while the ceremony was taking place. Cocktail hour was held in the courtyard. It was about and hour and a half. I saw staff place one sign to alert other guests that an event was taking place. Shout out to Pete who manned the bar during cocktail hour solo!
Even though the staff was informed by RSVP the choice of protein, some guests were trying to change it. Not cool at all! The bride had to address this with her guests. Kudos to the staff for trying to keep the bride happy.
I knocked off 2 stars for the following things:
Staff noisey during ceremony
Staff less attentive during cocktail hour
Low handicapped accommodations- mother of groom is disabled in wheelchair and was not placed in comfortable areas..and my bf is using a Walker after his surgery. Hes 6'5" and a Staff member tripped over his injured leg 2xs.
Salmon was slightly overcooked
Staffed over cut cake causing big pieces to be wasted and not all guests getting some.
