"its like clockwork Rockport" -Wu Tang Diesel
The validation of Rockport shoes in a Wu Tang track indicates that Rockports aren't just for old men and spiffy executives who wear their slacks above waistline looking for "weekend casual wear". Rockport is the real deal and I'll take it over Timberlands any day.
It all began in boxing day when the Rockport shoe store in Chinook held a 50% off sale. This allowed me to afford a pair of their boots that was normally priced at $250+. These boots are great. Its made out of goretex, leather, and adamantium (possibly vibranium). Its warm, roomy, and light. Its as if my feet were like armoured panzer tanks with the ability to lightly surf the clouds.
Fast forward 2 months later and these shoes still wear like they're brand new. Its gotten me through the roller coaster weather of satanic blizzards and those pesky snow melts. Today in above 0 weather, I stepped on black ice that was camouflaged underneath a slush puddle. Any boots would have had me instantly flailing my arms in a desperate search for balance, but with my Rockport boots I was instantly grounded and prevented what would have been a dangerous fall. Immediately I noticed two fine babes who were impressed by my catlike prowess and suggestively winked at me.
Ok...that last part didn't really happen, but I love these boots. The store itself @ Chinook is great, I prefer brand specific stores as associates would know more about the product and have a more diverse selection and size availability. Rockports are expensive, but you get what you pay for :D
