  • WOW. truly outstanding and fresh sushi. On a par with Kabuto and Raku for quality of sashimi. We ordered octopus sunomini. Best I've had. Ohitashi with mushrooms. Fantastic broth. Mackerel, ocean trout, Hokkaido uni, live orange clam and live abalone. Orange clam and ocean trout and mackerel were really the best I've had. Can't recommend this place strongly enough. Went back. Had the black throat sea perch special that just melted in your mouth. The king salmon, the Japanese Saba, Santa Barbara uni, were all fresh and tender and delicious as usual. Five mushroom dish, black cod, sunomono with octopus, ohitashi spinach with mushrooms all rounded out our yummy meal.
