| - I use to go here back when I lived nearby this location. I never had a single cavity, or any issues with my teeth what so ever before coming here. I was even at another dentist 6 months prior to coming here for a cleaning, so I thought it was very odd that the dentist here told me I have 4 shallow cavities all of a sudden. I was a cash paying patient at the time, and I kid you not, the dentist convinced me to let him fill all 4 of my cavities without any anesthetic! He said the Novocain shots would hurt worse than the drilling anyways, and since I was a cash paying patient, I would save a lot of money not getting any anesthetic. When I shared this story with other dentists I have been to since this place, they have all been very shocked. None of them charge extra for Novocain! Not to mention, absolute dental was by far the most expensive dental office I have ever been to. All I got was the initial cleaning, exam, X-rays, 4 resin composite fillings (without anesthetic) and a $500 zoom teeth whitening, and it cost me over $2k! I of course was pressured to sign up for the care credit, and even with my great credit at the time, it still required a co-signer. 7 months into making payments, and care credit raised the interest rate on my account by over 15%! I had to pay it off with another credit card to avoid paying even more money for such minimal dental work.
Aside from this place being outrageously expensive, I just find it very hard to believe I needed those 4 cavities filled. It's been 10 years, and I even missed my cleanings for 5 of those years, and I still don't have another cavity. They at least do good quality work here. I've just recently replaced 2 of the resin fillings, and 2 are still holding on strong 10 years later. When it comes to any dentist, I just highly recommend getting a second opinion if costly procedures are recommended that you feel you don't actually need.
