| - Mi Comida is wonderful. I love everything about it! Well, OK there are a few down-sides to a very small mom and pop spot like this, but the benefits far outweigh them.
There are very few tables here, and service is sort of slow, so be prepared to wait if you come during a busy time or with a group larger than 4. You can hardly be upset about it, though, because the older man who is always working the dining room is such a... well, he's CUTE. OK? I said it. He's adorable. I have no idea who works in the kitchen, but I like to imagine it's his little wife of 50 years, cooking exactly the way her mom taught her.
The food is delicious. DELICIOUS. It's not always sophisticated, but the flavor never disappoints. I've had several things from the menu and have loved each one. My absolute favorite is the maduros, which always manage to be perfectly ripened, sweet and crisp around the edges.
In short... eat here. Do it.
