  • It's so great that I don't have to go to the downtown location while here on business. Been coming to Matt's for years. This newish Tempe location is great. Large. Bright and neat ASU. Staff was super friendly too. I'm pretty simple when it comes to breakfast so I opted for the two egg breakfast with their incredible bacon. What's even more enjoyable is their thick sliced sourdough toast. The hash browns are also delicious. But let me get back to the bacon. Thick cut. Peppered. Perfectly cooked crisp with an outstanding smoky flavor. And while you may be tempted to get Starbucks across the way, their coffee is also flavorful. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna need a nap after this in this hot weather but it's worth it. Vince was a great guy too. Breakfast is also served all day. Parking in the Marina Center. Free wifi. Just happy that there wasn't a wait!
