Despite there being a walk-up take out window from the street, we decided to go into the Roasterie and boy were we glad we did! The impressive and eclectic collection of antique hand grinders are quite a sight to behold and the pair of quirky baristas who were busily serving customers from both counters were dressed in a hybrid steampunk-gypsy style.
I loved their admittedly pricey but large and not overly sweet iced chai latte ($5.25), but didn't think much of their bitter decaf latte. The Roasterie's assortment of house roasted beans on display were tempting - even for an ex-barista who doesn't drink coffee daily.
