On my visits to Vegas I've walked past Jaleo many times after reading the menu. The Tapas menu just didn't convince me to stop when paying 100+ per person and I wasn't hungry. Very often the food doesn't meet the hype of the exotic decor and nothing makes me more irritated. So, I look for off strip speciality spots when I have a chance. We finally stopped for lunch and had their $25 prix fixe. Each item was Very well done!..with very clear and separate flavors in the dishes! Well thought out flavor pairings and impeccable decor. It was a great value, so now I'm interested in their 21 course tasting on my next visit to Vegas. The one thing I didn't like was the breadstick provided for an accompanying dish. Just didn't meet the quality of the other items. Dessert add ons were unique and above par! Service - excellent.
